Split releases are actually my favorite format, particularly on tape or LP. Sometimes I reach out to do splits with other bands and sometimes they reach out to me! In any case, I’ll only ever do splits with projects that are very distinct from my own. I feel honored to have performed on these releases with the other artists, and would love to do more of them in the future. I also try to really reach into alternative genres when I perform on splits. I think it always ends up interesting to listen to and unique. I see projects I’ve done splits with as friends, I pray and think about everyone involved in these often.
